Search Tips

You may search for property information by the tax parcel number, or by providing property location information. For best results, we recommend a search using the tax parcel number.

General Search Tips

If you can't find the tax parcel you are looking for, you may need to broaden your search by entering fewer search criteria.

If you receive too few results and want to broaden your search, remove some search criteria. For example, instead of including a number and street name in your search, try removing the number and searching only with the street name.

If you receive too many results (by default, we display 20 tax parcel search results), click your browser's "Back" button to add more search criteria and narrow your search.

From the search list displayed, you may view detailed property information by clicking on the appropriate tax parcel number.

Tax Parcel Number Search

A tax parcel number consists of two or three fields in the format 22-832-100. To search by tax parcel number, you may enter an entire tax parcel number, or the first two fields of the tax parcel number. For instance, if the tax parcel number 22-832 is entered as search criteria, a search list containing all tax parcel numbers beginning with 22-832 will be displayed:    22-832, 22-832-1, 22-832-2, etc.

Property Location Search

Enter at least one of the criteria listed in the Location Search box for the tax parcel information you are searching for and click the "Search" button. Search criteria available include Property Address, Municipality, and Section-Town-Range. You may search using one of the critieria or a combination of criteria.

Property Address There are three methods available to search by property address:

  1. Searching By Street Number

Searching by Street Number requires an exact match.

    Examples: N2505, 1234, etc.

Searching for a street number "123" will not return a match for a street number of "1234".
Searching for a street number "N2505" will not return a match for a street number of "2505".

  2. Searching By Street Name

Use this field to search by the name of the street. An exact match is not required. For instance, entering King will return a listing for all tax parcels with fire numbers located on King Road, King Street, John King Road, Nanking Avenue, etc.

Entering "chard" in the street address field will return information for all tax parcels located on any street containing the character string chard: Richard, Richards or Richardson.

You may also use this field to input an entire property address, including the street number.

You may search for property information using the Street Name, or by combining the search with other search criteria such as the Street Number, Parcel Number, Municipality, etc.

  3. Site Address Search

You may also use the Street Name field to search by number and name of street. Entering 411 in this field will result in a listing of all tax parcels tht contain the string "411" in the property address field. Results would include address such as 411, 4114, N411, N4118, etc.

You may enter a partial address in the Street Name field.

Municipality

Use the drop down list box to select the name of a Municipality.

Section-Town-Range

Enter the Section number, and then use the drop down list boxes to select the Town and Range. The entire Section Town and Range must be entered for this search to work properly. The Section number is a two-digit number between 01 and 36.
